What is the best place to travel last minute deals for hotels or rental cars only? (I'm not looking for a design package ") O Alternatively, what is the best program membership card, ie, AAA, etc that offer good discounts on hotels?
For last minute deals hotels, always based on http://www.ratestogo.com. It is the sister website http://www.hotelclub.com (for non-last minute). They have an optional membership if they choose to join, would give discounts and benefits every time you use the site. On the other hand, I suppose it depends where you are visiting. There are some places are not actually available to book online for a traditional travel agent might be able to help. As for car hire, sorry I have no recommendations, but I think Ratestogo and HotelClub has some partners on their sites too. I have not tried those.
