Holiday Credit Crunch – Try a caravan holiday in the Welsh Shield
Well, the credit crunch is here and all we have to cut small luxuries of life. This holiday is one of the areas in which everyone can reduce their consumption. For those of you who usually travel abroad, they have two choices this year there are no holidays or vacations anywhere in the UK.
Where can reasonably cheap holiday in the UK? Of course it is to stay in a static caravan in the beautiful Welsh coast. I know many of you who have not been camping for years that remain in a static caravan is only one step up from the slums that in some tents in a campsite terrible dirty. You may have vivid memories of hydrants and restrooms and outdoor shower blocks. But let me assure you that staying in a static caravan can be as luxurious as and much cheaper than a nice hotel. In addition, a caravan is like in a mini apartment that is outside the accessibility for most people when compared to renting a mini apartment in a hotel.
Many caravans now have double glazing and central heating. All of them have running water, showers, fully equipped kitchens and comfortable living rooms with televisions, dishes and even sky DVD players. Most caravans have two or three bedrooms. If you are renting a three bedroom apartment in a nice hotel would cost a fortune for just for a week. But the cost of renting a static caravan for a week is very reasonable. So therefore let me assure you that staying in a caravan static is far from the slums it. Oh, yes, but rent is all I hear you say! Yes it is if you want it to be, but most holiday caravan parks centers are wonderful entertainment for the whole family. In fact you may never need to leave the trailer park for the whole stay the holidays and everything you need to a complete vacation is on the site. Fun children's clubs, swimming complexes, clubs, pubs, restaurants and beautiful coastlines with many nice beaches and of course the sea. The really good thing is that you can enjoy all these activities without having to drive or walk far to reach them.
For me, one of the best things about staying in a static caravan is that many parks are on the coast. There are not many reasonably priced hotels which are located along the coast overlooking the sea. I know of many hotels, where you can walk outside your door and be on the beach in less than a minute, but there are numerous trailer parks, where this is the case. One thing worth mentioning is that trailer parks are very child friendly with plenty of lawns for children to run and play without fear road traffic. In addition, all other guests in the hotel are the families and group bookings of one sex are not allowed. Therefore, there never be groups of beer-or laddettes louts roaming the camp drunk, being sick or making a noise until the wee hours of the morning when their children are trying sleep. Once more thing worth mentioning is that the caravans are separated as it were. Therefore we should not go very quiet as there are no customers in any room next door to hers. I can remember many holidays when the children were teenagers sitting in the living room talking in the chat room watching TV until the wee hours of the morning and not have to worry about keeping people awake in the room next door.
So there you have plenty of reasons for that contraction credit does not mean you can not have a good holiday. Many years ago when I was a kid a caravan holiday in the sea was a dream vacation. Everyone high expectations of what we now have to spend a vacation. Many people think that if they go abroad is not really a holiday. Well I think that a good thing about the credit crisis is that it can bring us back to enjoy some of the simplest things in life. The best things in life are free and have a lot of them. We are an island and are surrounded by the beautiful coastline that is free for all to see. Just remember that half the world starves and complain because they can not afford to go abroad for a holiday.
