For the first time to Europe?
My boyfriend and I are "planning a trip to Dublin and London, possibly sometime in late September for two weeks. We have never been abroad, so we do not know anything about European travel. I'm doing much research, but I am struck by how expensive airfare and hotels are located in these places. Does anyone have tips or suggestions on where to stay in Dublin or London, which is budget-friendly, but it is still good (ie, at least one bathroom in the room)? In addition, although I understand British Airways and Virgin are the best to fly abroad taxes are too high. What airline based in America would suggest you to fly long distances? Or should I figure on the top and fiscal go with BA? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
Taxes are the same no matter what airline you take, so you might as well fly Virgin. You can find a basic hotel U.S. $ 100 night in any of those cities. I stayed at the Royal National in London, is a decent hotel, basic in a good location, and is small and clean rooms around $ 100 per night at the current exchange rate. But it is difficult to find much lower than Unless you are really willing to stay in a landfill – London is an expensive city. You may want to see in flight and hotel packages. U.S. Traffic – Flights Europe has been down due to the economy, and as a result many airlines are offering great deals on packages to try to fill their planes.
