Should I book an online travel site or that it is cheaper to book flights and hotel?? ?
My wife and I are planning our first holiday / honeymoon to Mexico late this October …. our passports are ready to go so you know. We have done our homework and added many vacation travel Web sites (cheapcarribean, apple, hot wire etc), but they are all roughly the same price, accumulated so. So what is the best and most cheap way to book our vacation. I read the travel advisory Reserve flight and hotel separately can be much cheaper is this true. Some websites offer 4 fight night / all-inclusive hotel for $ 499 … but what if you fly from Miami, we'll fly out of any of Cinn., O Columbus Dayton Ohio … please help!
There is no easy answer to your question. Either a separate package or reserve could be cheaper depending on the circumstances. Book as a package is often more cheap, because the company offering the package may have an agreement to sell wholesale with your favorite hotels. That means they can get rooms cheaper than you can not because they commit to purchase many rooms. However, it may be cheaper to book a separate website, if you have a lower rate but the website B has a agreement with the hotel that gives them a lower price. If not already done so, try Expedia or Travelocity. They often have discounts for booking as a package, but not all the hotels. Since you've researched several websites, it should be relatively easy to make some comparisons. If prices are all about the same regardless of whether it is a package or separately, then only the package of books. It's easier. If a site has a lower rate and the other has a lower rate of the hotel, then only separate book. As you can see, finding the best deal is not always easy. It often takes a lot of work!
