Costa Rica-What is the best beach in the Pacific Northwest?
Looking for the best beach to stay / walk / swim on the coast in Guanacaste Nicoya in Costa Rica. Looking for a beach where we stay, so there must be some hotels / cabins .. Not too touristy, but not totally isolated. City Beach right on the beach or walk some distance to beach know the beaches are different there, but clean and long would be fine. Playa Carrillo is the leading contender, but do Not know where to stay. Tamarindo, but overwhelmed with choices. Moderate prices, for example, about $ 100 per night at the end of the dry season of 2007.
I would say Conchal and surroundings: The Penca, Sugar Beach, Flamingo, Potrero, etc. .. You can also take a look at Samara and Carrillo area … you'll love!
