What to do in / near Honolulu?
Is there anyone familiar with the area of Honolulu? I could fly to Honolulu in early May and stay at the Marriott Ko Olina Beach Club in Kapolei Hawaii. I do not know what Hawaii is like … at all. Let's rent a car so you can go where we go … Where we go right? Are there volcanoes? Mountains? Pretty waterfalls? Help! I know we're going to Pearl Harbor … And the beach area of Waikiki … where else?! Helpppp! 10 pts best answer! (The hotel can not be changed, we have a week off there Marriott points)
First, you'll be on the island of Oahu, which is the more developed and more populated. Ko'olina is very nice. It is far from Waikiki (about half an hour or so in no traffic), and about an hour distance from the north coast. There's really nothing way out of that side of the island. But with an incredible sunset Ko'olina. There are no active volcanoes on Oahu, but Diamond Head crater in the city (what locals call Honolulu) is a place of excursion. The view from here is phenomenal. This is what to do on Oahu: North Shore-Eat some shaving Matsumoto Shave Ice ice (the most popular shave ice store) "As for the beaches Chief Mountain on the north coast and begin to Kaneohe. You will see the montañas. "You have to take Highway H-3 back to Kapolei (Kapolei or Kaneohe) and again you will see both lados. Moutains" If you take the Pali go to the city of Kaneohe, There is a scenic spot where you can stop and see Kaneohe, Kaneohe Bay, and the mountains (there are also Pali Lookout, which offers the same view, but at a higher altitude lot). Waikiki-Watch the magic of Polynesia show at the Beachcomber hotel Hope I helped!
