Travel Italy roadmap?
Tourist tentatively planning to cover the few places in France and Italy from March 27 to April 4. This would our first visit to Italy. Could start in London (27) -> Paris (27-29) -> Venice (30) -> [Florence (31) -> Pisa (31) -> Florence (31)] -> Roma (1-4) -> London (4). Is this route can be? Suggest best alternative routes from Paris and ending in Rome.Can us and we cover these places by train? Are you sure? Cheap? Can you provide references of decent budget hotels (4 +2 children) near these tourist sites and railway stations. Any beach anywhere sany good? The return is via flights from Rome.

I live near Venice and prefer the night train travel to and from Paris. It leaves the Gare de Bercy at 8:33 pm and arrives in Venice at 9:34 the next morning. You can sleep all night while you travel and do not need a hiotel for that night. The standard fee is € 127 per adult and 62 euros for children in a compartment with four beds. However, there are several levels of discounted tickets. If you buy your tickets in time for the "smart" price, you can get tickets for the 6 € 45 each. You can find schedules and prices of others in the train website easily. I would recommend that the day you go to Pisa from Florence, take the morning to see the Tower, the Cathedral and the Baptistery early. and now back on the train for another 25 minutes to Lucca for the rest of the day. the old walled city is just across the street from the train station. There's plenty to see and do there. You can take a train to Florence, Lucca directly without going back through Pisa. Finals March / early April is the best time for the beach here, but you can get to Ostia Lido in about 30 minutes using public transport in Rome.
