What is the best way to book U.S. Holiday Canada (Montreal or Toronto)?

Hi Guys, I'm thinking about a trip to Canada (Montreal or Toronto – Not sure yet, but probably from Montreal). I am planning to spend about five days (four nights) there. What is the better way (cheaper) to book air tickets, hotel, and perhaps a rental car. I have searched through various booking sites (Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, Priceline and travel.yahoo.com). They are about the same price. I wonder if there are better ways that sites that do not know me. Besides, I'm new to the trip. There are some questions you could help me with. 1.) Should I try to avoid low-rate hotels (for example, 1 or 2 stars hotels)? How many stars hotels do most people choose? 2.) In Montreal and Toronto, are there areas that should try to avoid? 3.) In Montreal and Toronto, if I choose a hotel near the airport. "I can donwtown travel to the area without a car? Any information regarding the above questions is greatly appreciated Thanks guys

if you're flying from the U.S. http://www.site59.com try. They have package deals with flight, hotel or car hire. There are coupons floating around $ 25 discount. If your package is over $ 700, can use the code to get $ 59 off SITE59ESCAPE100. I've been to both cities many times (I prefer to Montreal – for now). Toronto is a great American city. Both cities are relatively safe if you stay central.

EPIC FAIL!! We can’t go anywhere on the elevator at the Travelodge Hotel Toronto Airport!
