What is the best deal on hotel and passes to Disneyland?
Thinking about going to Disneyland w / wife and two children for a couple of days. We will be driving Phoenix in November and not know where to stay. I do not want to spend a lot of money (would like to keep it under $ 1,000), but I will not make the budget shoes string holiday thing either. check the website of Disneyland in "deals" and found some daily ski pass + hotel packages for around $ 1,400. Am hoping to find some better bargains. I have not been to Disneyland in over 25 years and was hoping to get good advice from local and / or experience in Disneyland offers attendees the best bang-for-your-money without resorting to stay in a Motel 6 and eating McDonalds for dinner.
If you just go a couple of days and that is everything you do not see why you would pay 1400 for 2 days. I suggest you do not go Disney if that is what you load. I have an annual pass to Disneyland and go often. I always go by my birthday is in November and even though we live 30 minutes from Disneyland we always stay the night in a hotel for my birthday. We have maintained a good number: Alpine Inn (not recommended), Holiday Inn (now Hotel Menage), Ramada, Seraton. The fact that my family loves the most is the Ramada in Ketella Blvd Ave port because no two of them. http://www.ramada.com/Ramada/control/Booking/check_avail?variant=&id=14252&propBrandId=RA&force_nostay=false&bmInSession=true&tab=tab1 It is fairly new and clean. The rooms were surprisingly spacious for a family of four. We had two beds and a sofa that pulled out into a bed as well. When you check ask if you can have a room overlooking Disneyland. My mother asked for this and at night you could see the fireworks from outside our window Disenyland. It was a experiacne cool. As a mother is eating little and pop Mexican restaurant we have eaten a meal that is good enough for decent prices. It is five minutes walk from the hotel. If Mexico is not then your hotel is actually on the same street in a small outdoor shopping facility that has nice restaurants. Bubba Gump, Hometown Buffet, Ming Delicias, Manhor Deli, Italian Marri, and others are all on Katella Avenue. within walking distance of the Ramada. I think you can really find some deals on hotels and restaurants if you just look. Have a good time!
