What Kyoto Hotels in Japan are expensive?
I'm willing to go to Japan for two weeks in Kyoto in February 2009, with my best friend, I need to know what kind of prices are we looking for the price of a twin room or destroy, or 2 singles in a good hotel at night, or two weeks, they were not looking bathroom! the best! just a desent and affordable place for 2 weeks, anyone can help me with this information? please say … Thank you.
Kyoto would be a great place for you to experience a ryokan. There are three or four very famous the (Sumiya, Tawaraya, Hiiragiya and Kinmata). I've stayed at Kinmata three times and enjoyed it, especially food. The owner took me around and explained the importance of porcelain and wall scrolls. It was great. I paid about ¥ 70,000 for one night (about $ 700) – but that's just for one person, two people will have to pay $ 1400/night ($ 700×2). That includes a great dinner and breakfast.
