Cancun Travel – The best vacation ever
Cancun, Mexico, Southeast. A tropical place of beauty, history and relaxation. Located on the peninsula Yucatan state of Quintana Roo, Cancun is very different from the rest of Mexico and is divided into two main areas – Hotel Zone (an island 18 km long) and Cancún (The continent.) Both areas are connected together with a driveway, making it easily accessible by taxi, bus or even on foot.
Facing the Hotel Zone Caribbean on one side and has a lake (Laguna Nichupte) on the other. Most of the population lives on the continent (Cancún City), which is also where the hotels and resorts are located. This has meant that the hotel Hotel Zone is free from mass marketing in many ways. Cancun also offers some of the best diving and snorkeling in the world, which includes the largest coral reef fifth in the world (The reef of Belize) which has the black coral (coral lovers know that is quite rare black coral.)
There are also plenty of watersports for the person who enjoys a vacation with a little more action. The selection of the finest resort hotels, classy restaurants, pubs and bars and a great night life with clubs makes it a great holiday spot for all types of people. Buyers can enjoy shopping (five centers supermarkets, or shopping on the street.) For those who want to relax a little more, lagoons of Cancun sand banks, mangroves, cenotes (wells) and beautiful beaches are what would be looking for.
But you could probably get a lot of the above (also coral reef, etc) in many other cities in the world. One of the things that sets apart the sites Cancun and Mayan ruins nearby. These ruins are fascinating in all senses – full of mystery and history. Coba boasts about the largest pyramid in the Yucatan Peninsula and the ancient sites of Uxmal, and Merida Puuc are highly recommended. All the ancient sites are very well looked after and raise the interest, even those who do not enjoy the story.
Cancun is also a great place for a holiday that can cater very well for all budgets. Although the mainland of many top class hotels, there are also centers small or places to stay if you are a cheaper budget. Transportation is easy in and around the city as well, and there are many tourism operations offered transportation to the historical sites of several islands that are at sea nearby.
The only downside of Cancun, like many of the destinations Popular tourist, is that if you are the kind of person who wants serious calm and relaxation, Cancun can be very busy with their "party" kind of atmosphere. But if you are looking for a place where there is much to do, see and enjoy, Cancun will be a very good choice.
