I'm going to Las Vegas in December and want to be in the strip?
The recommendations for a reasonable hotel, and what is the best way to buy? Priceline perhaps? Also looking for recommendations show, and the trip to Hoover Dam. Any place to get discount tickets?

The GC is a nice clean 2-star + hotel, but that's not as nice as the Orleans. However, it is a bit more comfortable to the strip, maybe 5 minutes, depending on traffic in his free transfer.
