Where to go and where to stay in Hawaii for my honeymoon?
My wedding is September 2009, and am trying to plan and save for a honeymoon in Hawaii. I think I want to go to Maui and probably a second island. What two islands are best? I love a beautiful beach and luxurious resorts, but part of the time we would also like to do some activities. Also, do you have hotel suggestions? I really want to stay in beautiful resorts on the beach, but do not want to go completely broken … Suggestions?
Maui is a good option, and Oahu has the most activities, but most of the people. Kauai is gorgeous, with fewer activities, greatly. Hawaii has the volcano, but just a beach! If you are concerned about costs, study privately owned condos on Maui and other islands. We were in one in Kihei which is $ 80/nt. in the fall, and is across the street from the best beach around! Does not make you go completely broke and is really nice. You can make some of their dishes in the kitchen, and hit the beach, then go to dinner. Maui has many activities, I'll list the website.
